State Appointed Expansion to CBH Care's Mental Health Urgent Care Program

In recognition of its good standing since 2013, New Jersey has invited CBH Care to expand its Wellness & Support Center [also known as the Early Intervention Support Services (EISS)] program in Westwood, NJ. The EISS program is a precious resource for the community known amongst residents as "the county's mental health urgent care clinic."

With additional funding, CBH Care will be able to hire a new full-time licensed employee to provide direct counseling to persons with diagnosable mental illness or dually diagnosed with a mental illness and substance use disorder. The funding will also enable the program to extend EISS-specific outpatient services for individuals who cannot transition to another mental health service within a targeted 30-day timeframe. CBH Care looks forward to starting the program expansion in 2022.
