
Adult (Standard MHFA)
This 8 hour course teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults.
Requirements
Participants must be at least 18 years old to enroll in a course.
All courses are taught in person and are scheduled in either a one session (8 hour) day or a two session (4 hours each) within four calendar days (i.e. Monday and Thursday, Tuesday and Friday, or Tuesday/Wednesday).
Objective
The interactive curriculum gives foundational knowledge about common signs and symptoms, an action plan, stigma, accessing care — including potential barriers, as well as the importance of self-care.
